Ok this is one of the worst EK65 trades I’ve seen to date. What a tremendous overpay.

Pesce + 1st and a 2nd is already close to overpaying as it is (that’s assuming Pesce comes with an extension, as SJS isn’t in a position to be trading for rental assets)

So... the Carolina Hurricanes... an organization renowned for being savvy and smart... are going to gut the right side of their D core for a 33 year old with injury issues whole paying a 1st, 2nd, and one of their best young players for the pleasure? If Burns goes, Pesce stays. If Pesce goes, Burns stays. I personally expect both to stay
