Description
Many Habs fans are still angry with the Drouin-Sergachev trade but I do believe that Marc Bergevin improved our top 6 and it's not looking too bad. Plus, if, and I do say if, Shea Weber and Carey Price do not get injured and have a great year, the Habs will be a playoff team. I personally think that we'll finish as the 3rd seed in The Atlantic behind the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Toronto Maple Leafs, maybe even higher. We have to start the year greatly( like The 2 previous seasons) but this time we have to be a lot more consistent than the other years. As long as the team stays healthy, everything is great. I predict that we'll be going against the Maple Leafs in the first round of the playoffs and win it in 7 games. Next up, the New York Rangers and we win in 7 games again. Then, the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference Finals, we lose in 5 games. Price will be in the race for the Vézina Trophy, Shea Weber will be a potential candidate for the Norris Trophy, once again Max Pacioretty will be our best scorer ( I predict 38 goals) and will have the most points on our team, followed by Alex Galchenyuk, Jonathan Drouin and Brandon Gallagher( hopefully for him)

Your description and predictions seem pretty realistic for the most part. I'll be curious to see if they make a big splash at the deadline with all that cap room.

Our top 6 is not better than last years top 6, it is equal to last years top six at best. On the hole our forward group might be a little bit better if lehkonen continues to improve and Byron and Danault were not a flukes ( which I do not think they were but really you never know) We replaced Radulov with Drouin, while in the long run that will probably be better it does not make this years top 6 better just different and it cost us big time. I think we make another first round exit unless MB does something impressive with all his cap space ( which I am doubting at this point)
