I honestly think DET would match anything under 12 mil, because even at 11.5, he won’t be that overpaid, and with cap growing, he might not be overpaid at all

One reason there are so few offers sheets, is wouldn't the Wild (in this case) just spend 10m on UFA(s) and keep their picks

laugh First off this needs to be the 2024-2025 NHL season, Seider would be resigned by 2025-2026.

And secondly you'd need to make Seider the highest paid player in the NHL, Try more like $17,000,000 per for Yzerman to think about it. If you're only offered 5 x $10,725,000 Detroit easily matches that and doesn't bat an eyelash. You'd have to offer up 4 1st round picks for Yzerman to even hesitate.

Detroit could match anything up to 14 mil to 15 mil and still be fine.
