Description
The amount of Cap space the Sharks will have in 3-4 years from now will be ridiculous. They have great prospects in the pipeline that will be ready to go and start competing for a playoff spot again much like the 20+ years from 1997-2019.

People who know what a rebuild is understand why they made this trade.

Sharks need a 2027-28 option on ACgm because that's their aim assuming any assets accumulated now will start to be something if draft picks work out.

Yup, cuz you know Toronto and Florida will not be able to afford either of them soon and they’ll likely want to make the most $$$ in their primes and play for a younger team. Sharks will have the cap space to sign whoever they want.

I think 25/26-26/27 seasons will be when u start to see Sharks take a big step and compete for a wild card/playoff spot. Will Smith and a lot of their top European prospects will be ready to go by then.
