So, the Sharks add 3.2 million in cap in the Granlund/Rutta-Garland/Myers swap this season, which would put them within 700k of the cap. While Myers at least runs out this year, Garland has 2 more years at 4.95 so that's 9.85 of total cap over 2 years compared to 7.75 over 1 for the Canucks. SJ likes their flexibility (2 Fs signed beyond 24-25), so they might want a better sweetener. Unless the Garland > Granlund upgrade is that much of a selling point.

Just saying another selling point is what you can get for him @ the trade deadline &’if to happen after sept 1st I believe your only paying Myers 1 million but yes 6 as a cap hit
