Description
they can either waive/trade Lafferty/Timmons/Gio, or do what they did last year and go into camp and if there is an LTIR-able injury they don't have move anyone and they can kick the can down the road (last year they never ended up having to make a trade with the amount of injuries they had).

They could move send down Knies who is waiver eligable and run 11-7 and not lose anyone.

Here is the Timmins move, which I don't like but it is better to lose him that Brodie, and I doubt they'll trade Gio

Trouble with waiving Timmins and he's claimed, the Leafs have NOT ONE capable NHL Dman with the Marlies.

true, it's not a great situation, I'd rather not have to run a 20 man roster but it's looking like that's whats gonna happen

Sure, its definitely possible for them to get under the cap, but it will likely involve some level of pain. Gio isn't going anywhere outside of possibly being a healthy scratch, Jones, Timmins, and Lafferty would be claimed in a heart beat, and it'd be a shame to send Knies down.

Moving Brodie now provides opportunity for younger players that are going to actually be around long term and gives TOR a larger cushion of being under the ceiling. But, I'm not the one saying that moving him is the answer. All I was saying is that TOR does need to create cap space one way or another. Whoever posted that other ACGM was the one proposing Brodie be moved, not me.
