AZ Passes - couple years ago this would be a go but not now. bolduc (20yo) is solid piece but not near NHL ready, and two 1st (one in 26' is 15yo now) this sets back the rebuild years and tells the fans the team is not going to be serious about ever trying to contend and would send awful message to locker room.

Dear lord no. This pinholes the Blues who were a bottom 10 team last year and are in major transition without flexibility to HAVE to win. I’m of the belief the Bkyes will bounce back this season, and even though I think Bolduc will be a pretty solid second line scorer in the NHL he is expendable for the Blues. That being said, there’s a 50/50 shot in this you’re giving away two lotto picks and Bolduc for an offense only winger when offense hasn’t been our issue. He’d certainly improve our offense, but Saad Is a bigger key to trying to right the ship given what we need. I am not saying that Saad is more impactful. I’m saying we need our forwards and defense to give our goalies more of a chance if we want to win, which trading 2 1sts certainly signifies
