Description

Trocheck will have to go for just basic cap purposes. He wouldn't waive to go to Anaheim and Anaheim is going to want someone younger. Loop in Carolina (Trochecks former team) to take a similar contract in Kotkaniemi (younger but less productive). Anaheim gets a young bottom 6 center, a young RHD and two first rounders for a player that wants out.

And this is not to say either team would accept these trades. It's just the only way NYR could really make it work.

Zegras to the Rangers is pure fantasy and never happens. They have too much money tied up in too few players already and none of the vets waive their NMC's to play in Anaheim.

In addition, Schneider is off limits.
