As good as Wolf is, Anaheim also has a top 10 goalie prospect in the league in Dostal. Wolf doesn't fill a need for us. After that, coronato and a late 2nd doesn't get McTavish and Drysdale, and then you want three years retention?

The difference between Nylander and Hanifin at face value is substantially more than a 2nd, imo. Then on top of that you've got us paying more against the cap for Hanifin than you would be for Nylander. Plus it seems like a pretty forgone conclusion that Hanifin wants to play in the US, meaning he'd certainly be a pure rental, whereas for all we know Willy would be open to signing with the Flames... hard pass for the Leafs, imo.

Way, WAY off for the Ducks. Drysdale is a poor fit for Calgary as shown by your lineup and he's an essential part of ours (he's the only quality RhD we have), whereas Wolf isn't yet and Coronato may never be. Addressing our secondary need at RW by creating a bigger hole at a position of primary need at RD would be dumb. In short, Drysdale with retention for that package would be a mistake for Anaheim and the Ducks wouldn't trade McTavish for it, either.
