Chartier has outplayed Kastelic. IMO.

I know people liked Smejkal in preseason, I did too but he is off to bad start in the AHL and has been scratched. Kelly and MacEwen have NHL experience and are on 1-ways, this is what Dorion decided.

Kelly has been great this season and should play all games until he stops playing like this. Kastelic has to be there just for FO ability and physical deterrence at the very least. Chartier is good defensively

Kastelic didn't have the greatest start this season but was a monster in yesterday's game.

Kelly - Chartier - Kastelic is our best 4th line possible this season (well until Pinto is back). Have Kastelic take faceoffs. With the way Kelly and Chartier have been playing and what Kastelic done last season, this is actually a good 4th line

Kastelic has been 78% at ES defense in the NHL so his defensive metrics have been good enough as well
