Description
Laval are 1-6-1.... and yet Offensively they are doing really great.
Defensively and in net...not so much. It's great to give the kids a lot of playing time, but there still needs some veteran presence to stabilize the back end. And this bleeds into goaltending, Dobes has been thrown to the wolves, and Mann is not an AHL goalie.
Trades
1.
CGY
  1. Légaré, Nathan
Additional Details:
22 year old forward for a 29 year old upcoming UFA who's currently backing up Wolf.
Will throw in Staruss Mann, current Laval backup to fill position.
2.
MTL
  1. Ouellet, Xavier
Additional Details:
Doesn't need to be Ouellet, but someone like him that can be a veteran presence on the blue line for the kids, it's currently very lacking.

Why give up the younger better player for an AHL backup? Just trade a Mann and a 7th for him

Ah yes, because CGY will just give him essentially for free. Even a solid AHL goalie will cost something. Just because he's backing up Wolf doesn't take away that he'd way better than what Laval currently has.

J-F Houle is more the problem
Maillet is a bad player and they expected him to lead in scoring
The d pairing doesn't make sense either
Should be something like this :

Simoneau-Stephens-Andersson
Farrell-Condotta-Roy
Maillet-Gignac-Legare
McKay-Mysak-P.Jones

Send Kidney in the ECHL

Struble (our best dman)-Mailloux
Bisson-Trudeau (he has been terrible unfortunately)
Norlinder-Keeper

Beaudin & Galipeau sits

Dobes
Need a vet I agree

Ok that's fair but we have Primeau, who I have a hard time believing would be claimed if waived since he has not faired well at all in the NHL.
