Description
I see the Habs making a jump this year and its the perfect opportunity to ship guys who'll be on their last contract year. We can make room for young players and guys like Roy, Farrell, Hirvonen, Heineman, Ylonen, Mesar and Beck can battle it out at camp for a spot.

I think it'd be smarter to target Teravainen instead of Nylander. I just dont see him leave Toronto to got to Montréal. Also unless the Canes pull off some magic, I dont see how they can sign Necas, Jarvis and Teuvo. They'll need to make choices and I think he'd be a great fit with CC and Suzuki.

Hopefully Dach can take the whole year to comeback and wont injure himself again.

Id extend Monahan if he can play at least 60 games this year. Important to keep some vets around.

Hutson and Reinbacher start together on the 3rd pair and move their way up as the year goes on. Savard gets moved at TDL and Reinbacher gets a shot with Matheson. Hutson drives PP1 with Caufield, Suzuki, Slaf and Teuvo.

We have cap space so we can get paid for a cap dump or we just keep it to extend guys like Ghule, Slaf and maybe a FA goalkeeper in 2025.

can't express how little interest I have in taking on Anderson's 5.5M AAV

No

Don’t want or need. Beecher more valuable to us than Dvorak.

3rd/mid level prospect would be closer but B’s have zero interest.

San Jose doesn't consider. AHL players that cost 3.4M in cap, 3.8M in salary, don't get picks in return. Sharks just keep Labanc and let him walk themselves.
Anderson, the Leaf Killer, would still be killing the Leafs as a member with his cap hit and lackluster play. They don't consider.
Dvorak would be an expensive 4th line centre for the Bruins, no reason for them to do that trade.
Edmonton also a cap strapped team, probably keep the young cheap player over the more expensive one.

Evans for Lavoie is ridiculous. Hell no we ain’t making that trade. Lavoie was on waivers and went unclaimed. He has 0 value. We still could get a 3rd and B prospect for Evans. And no that Anderson deal
