I think the Canes would have too many goalies and with nowhere to play all of them. They had to loan Kochetkov to Syracuse because of a lack of affiliate, Andersen is only IR so he will be back this season, Raanta is still there, and now Halak is also on a PTO. Kind of doesn't make sense imo.

Missed Halak on the PTO. But I’d assume Freddy is done for a while. A blood clotting issue is something that would leave me pretty worried. This would ofc all depend on whether or not Kochetkov shows that he’s got it in this current NHL stint

Leafs likely accept don’t see why they wouldn’t would like to get another goalie but one could be acquired elsewhere
