Liljegrens not going anywhere. The defenseman they probably want to move out and replace is Klingberg, moving Liljegren would just be creating another hole without creating the cap space to really do anything meaningful about it.

Leafs decline all lily trades should start with a first and if they trade him for picks it will be in the offseason before free agency when they can replace him

i like the idea of van going after liljegren but i doubt toronto trades him mid season. better option for Van is to acquire a rental mid-season adn then go after lilly in the offseason

Liljegren will cost more than his value suggests, he's the Leafs only RHD under any sort of control
