We don't have to give up our second-pair RhD, our good 4th-line LW, a promising center prospect and a first-round draft pick in an effort to upgrade what is already one of the league's top offenses. You can argue that if we were getting Sanheim and Hart that this would be a good move, but Travis Konecny isn't what the Kings need, no matter how good he is.

Kings will get similar offensive production out of Arvidsson returning, so this basically makes the Kings weaker on defense and loses assets for basically the same offense and loss of several assets. No sense to make this trade for the Kings. They have one issue and it’s a backup goaltender.

Also to be noted, Grundstrom and the 4th line shouldn’t be messed with, they are amazing right now.
