Thought Process for value and reasoning is
Bouchard = Taking Campbell without retention & Getting Kovacevic

1st/Holloway/Bourgault + 2nd = Monty with 3yr extension at 3mil AAV

Armia is evening the money out for this years hab team maybe traded between arizona first to keep 50% first for a 4/5th round pick

The trade leaves EDM with close to 5 mil in cap space do add another middle 6 forward for depth (maybe a josh anderson lol jk but maybe Monahan frfr)

Going off what you said in the description, Montembeault is not worth a 1st + 3rd, and you also didn’t factor in that Armia is a cap dump either

I say no, and I hope the oilers would too. We should not use Bouchard to dump Campbell. That only makes our team worse, and Kovecevic doesn’t replace Bouchard in the top 4. Montembeault has never shown that he is a legitimate starter. All his career he’s been pretty meh, so no, he doesn’t grab you basically 3 firsts, and a second even with an extension! I would want an actual starter, and I also wouldn’t give more than a 3rd for Montembeault, MAYBE a second with an extension.
