I personally love the kampf signing sure it’s 400k over what he’s worth but he’s still great

Why commit all that money to Bunting? He pretty much only worked well with the top line. They are better off with Bertuzzi now (they will probably commit too much money to him), he wasn't any good with the top line but has been good with the 2nd (he's PPG in his last 5-games) which is fine because Knies works well with the top unit.

O'Reilly can be used as a 3C, but I do think he would need to get looks in the top 6 and this roster wouldn't allow for that. You already know that he did want to sign so kind of pointless bringing that up. Domi has been fine as the 3C.

Better to keep the younger Kampf over Acciari.

The Klingberg signing didn't work out, but the purpose of it was to get a second guy who could produce from the blue line.

Maybe for some justification, ROR's four year deal won't be long term good. Can't see Schenn's or Accarli's three years deal being good either. At least with Reeves he can by AHL buried and it doesn't cost the Leafs much in cap. I like the 8.5m free cap when Klingberg and Domi are UFAs next spring, along with JK's 4.1m
