Description
It's looking more and more like the Kraken will be sellers of some sort this deadline. However, with their window of contention being in the near future, they won't be pivoting into a full rebuild. Instead, what will likely happen is more of a soft sell, where Seattle trades away veteran rentals and depth while holding onto important contributors with team control as part of a reload for next season and beyond. With that in mind, I've done my best to categorize the Kraken players according to both my personal opinions on them and how I feel the Kraken will view them this trade deadline. Hopefully this will help those of you creating ACGM deadline trades with the Kraken.

Thank you for making this, I've seen so many mock trades of the kraken trading core pieces of their team for little to no return its actually crazy.

That list of veterans likely to be traded is rather underwhelming 😕; can’t see much coming back

Do you think SEA would pay to move the Burakovsky contract?

I doubt it, his contract really isn't a hindrance on their cap sheet, and when he's on the ice Burakovsky's been one of the team's best forwards. The main issue for him has been rotten injury luck, because each injury he's suffered has been in a different area of his body. If he can stay healthy for a good stretch I think he'll return in short order to being a positive asset for the Kraken.

Yeah. I figured that was the case, but I thought I'd ask anyway. As a CHI fan, if SEA were thinking of dumping him, I would take that bet. Because, when he is on, he is a very good forward, and if he doesn't bounce back, CHI could probably absorb the cap hit no problem, unless they have other plans.
