Description
The Kraken appear poised to be soft sellers this deadline, wherein they sell off veteran rentals but hold onto important contributors who would aid in a bounceback the following season. In this scenario, young players like Wright, Evans, and Winterton will get some run to close the season as the Kraken look towards a reload in 2024-25. With that in mind, I've attempted to come up with some viable deadline trades for the most notable Kraken trade candidates.

As always, helpful feedback is appreciated. Cheers and Go Kraken!
Trades
1.
SEA
  1. Daws, Nico
  2. Smith, Brendan
  3. 2024 3rd round pick (NJD)
Additional Details:
Seattle could probably fetch a prospect plus a third rounder for Schultz, especially if they retain salary. Daws would fill a need for the Kraken as a near NHL ready goalie prospect who could push the incumbents in the near future. Smith is in the trade simply to help match money for New Jersey.
NJD
  1. Schultz, Justin ($1,500,000 retained)
Additional Details:
With the Hamilton injury, the Devils have a massive hole on their back line. Schultz is a similar style player at the same position who can help fill that void. His calling card is offense but he's adequate defensively and has proven to be capable of stepping up come playoff time.
2.
SEA
  1. Heimosalmi, Aleksi
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
Should the Kraken trade Eberle, he could fetch a prospect with a better than average chance of becoming an NHL regular plus a second rounder. I chose Heimosalmi for this because he's a solid two-way defensive prospect, an archetype of which the Kraken need more in their prospect pool, and because the Hurricanes have several other talented defensive prospects already in their system.
CAR
  1. Eberle, Jordan ($2,750,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Carolina, as always, appears to be in need of a goalscoring boost, and a top-six RW like Eberle who makes his name on offense could help bolster their forward group as they look to finally get over the playoff hump.
3.
SEA
  1. 2024 2nd round pick (PIT)
Additional Details:
A second rounder might seem a bit rich, but given the dearth of centers seemingly available on the trade market, if Seattle is willing to retain half of Wennberg's cap hit he could return a second from some team.
PIT
  1. Wennberg, Alexander ($2,250,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Wennberg is a solid middle six center whose playmaking and transitional game fit Pittsburgh and he could help shore up the Penguins' forward group.
4.
SEA
  1. 2025 5th round pick (TOR)
TOR
  1. Megna, Jaycob
Additional Details:
This could really be any team in need of some defensive depth and facing a cap crunch, where Megna's below league minimum cap hit could be appealing.
5.
SEA
  1. 2024 5th round pick (COL)
NJD
  1. Bellemare, Pierre-Édouard
Additional Details:
Bellemare's getting up there in age, and doesn't offer much on offense, but he's a great target for any team looking to shore up their penalty kill.

The Canes, as never, are actually in need of players who keep the puck out of the net.

Is Schultz a big enough upgrade over Nemec/Miller to justify that?

Dougie should be back for the playoffs, and I don't think schultz vs Miller is the difference between making and missing the playoffs.

So tough to justify price for someone who probably doesn't play come playoff time.

Especially with daws a need in NJD system too
