Description
Where does Viktor play? Given Fiala's success with Danault and Moore, I think he goes to PLD's right.

What happens when Vladdy is ready to come back? It looks like LaFerriere and Moverare would go down to Ontario.

Who can explain to me why Jakob Moverare goes up and down without passing through waivers? He went through waivers during training camp.

The success of Moore-Danault-Fiala line and how poorly Fiala played with PLD means Arvidsson will most likely take Laffys spot as you have above. Coach Todd hasn't liked to separate Moore and Danault, and as long as Danault plays more minutes than PLD, I can't see how we justify moving our top goal scorer off his center. A goal scoring sniper like Arvidsson is a good match to the types of players PLD has played with in the past. In fact ****emo is playing well enough in Ontario to get a look before even Arvidsson returns.

Gavrikov and Roy are a big part of how good our defense has been. Moverare already has cleared waivers and will need to play something like 10 games or be up for 30 days to need to go through waivers again. I believe. (haha)

The waiver rule is that once you've cleared waivers, you don't have to clear again until you play in 10 NHL games or are on the active roster for 30 days. Moverare has only played in 5 games so far this season, so he's still clear on the first condition. He's been on the NHL roster for 27 days so far this season, so if he's on the Kings active roster for 3 or more days this season, he'll need to clear waivers again before he's sent down.

Thanks for the education, guys!!

Gavrikov was skating in a black (not red) jersey before the holiday break, so his return is imminent. He's not on LTIR, so there's no need to make any accommodations to fit his salary, as his salary never came off the books. They'll activate him and leave Moverare in the AHL. No other moves will be necessary.

When Arvidsson comes back, that's when they'll need to worry about making accommodations. Assuming Copley is still on LTIR, the only thing they'll have to do to fit him back in the lineup is to send Laferriere to the AHL. Kaliyev is no longer waiver exempt (he hit the games played threshold in his 14th game this season), so he's not an option. Unfortunately JAD isn't an option either since his cap hit isn't high enough.

If Copley returns, then the Kings will have to send Rittich and one of JAD or Bjornfot down to the AHL. The Kings were careful not to waive Bjornfot at the start of the season, so I suspect they wouldn't be willing to waive him this time either. Unlike Moverare, JAD would need to clear waivers again since he has been on the active roster for >30 days.

So the most likely transactions we'll see are Moverare to the AHL when Gavrikov is activated, Laferriere to the AHL once Arvidsson is activated, and JAD to the AHL once Copley is activated (assuming he clears waivers again).

So THAT's why they sent Moverare back to the Reign on Christmas Eve . . .
