Trades
1.
NYI
  1. Söderström, Victor
Additional Details:
Change of scenery trade. 11th overall pick in 2019 currently playing in the AHL. Isles org depth at RD is much thinner than LD. Most importantly, this frees up a roster spot without having to put a player through waivers
ARI
  1. Wahlstrom, Oliver
Additional Details:
11th overall pick in 2018. Wahlstrom joins a young Arizona core and get better playing time
2.
NYI
  1. 2024 5th round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Mike Reilly has made Aho expendable. In this scenario the Isles value Bortuzzo’s cup experience and choose him as their 7th D. Rather than lose Aho to waivers find a trade partner for a mid to late round pick.
MIN
  1. Aho, Sebastian
Additional Details:
Any team. Chose MIN arbitrarily
3.
NYI
  1. Schwindt, Cole
Additional Details:
Bolduc is a 23 year old LD and a former 2nd round pick. If he can get through waivers, ignore this trade. But I think he would get claimed. If Bortuzzo is 7th D and NYI can’t free up a roster spot (ex - making Matt Martin disappear on phony LTIR) the Isles could look to move Bolduc for another player who does not need waivers. I’d love Pelletier but don’t see that happening. Isles would need to add and I didn’t want to overcomplicate things.
CGY
  1. Bolduc, Samuel
Additional Details:
If CGY trades Hanifin and Tanev I could see them being interested in a guy like Bolduc for their retool

Wahlstrom isn't worth the paper his name is written on. No reason for the Coyotes to do this.

AZ passes - W is by far deepest position, your assertion wahlstrom gets more ice dont see where - current top 6 W - keller, schmaltz, crouse, maccelli - no chance, bottom 6 W carcone (14G) kerfoot (21pt) zucker (10pts) and obrien (7pts but is the heavy) so maybe he gets some 4th line mins but doubt it. And in the AHL is guenther PPG and doan (12G)

Plus waivers exempt RD is pretty valuable

With Pulock & Mayfield locked up long term, and Dobson likely to be as well once he's extension eligible, the Isles really don't have any spot for another RD.
