Certain trolls might think a 3rd is too much but I'd be content to let him go for that, 3 goalies isn't ideal for MTL but if KH really wanted to move a goalie in a pinch he would've given one away for something stupid like a 7th.

Montreal did move a goalie in a pinch 4 months ago when they traded DeSmith to Vancouver. They took on Pearson, and got a 3rd round pick. They're obviously not going to move Allen for a 7th even if they prefer not to carry 3 goalies (especially since in practical terms there haven't been any downsides to carrying 3 goalies).

Agreed, that's why I said "something stupid." Lucky for us KH isn't someone stupid so he won't be doing something stupid anytime soon. Plenty of teams looking to shore up goaltending which will provide plenty of options to negotiate with.
