Oof, this is a rough one! Flames call the Colorado medical staff to check on the front office, as there must be a gas leak or something.

Okay, so Lindholm for Byram, a 3rd, and a 6th could definitely work. I think the Flames would like a second instead of a third and sixth, but let's call this part a done deal.

That leaves Tanev, $2,250,000 retained, a 2024 5th and a 2025 1st for Olofsson. Now, to me, that seems like a pretty hefty price to pay for a 27 year old centre with 4 career goals. Flames will have to pass on that half of the deal.

Can’t imagine Avs pulling off both trades.
It makes sense for Giroux to be traded to a team that’s contending for the Stanley Cup, and same for Tanev and Lindholm.
I want to see both trades happen.

Not to mention that 1st is almost certainly going to Montreal in the Monahan trade so Calgary is essentially giving up their own 2025 top 10 pick here. Horribly lopsided trade
