If Giroux wants to play a team that’s contending for a Stanley Cup, this trade makes sense.

moreso, idk if the Sens have any interest in any of it, but the picks aren't a bad return. Foudy hasn't played in almost 2 years. Meyers is a fringe NHLer. Not sure either of those move the needle over a pick the Sens get to just make. RyJo is whatever, i think a lot of teams would take him if they aren't in contention this season, ACGM is a little nasty about him. He'd be totally fine on a team that players a slower game.

It's basically sending the bottom tier of our prospect pool. I just don't know if it gets it done for a team like Ottawa.
