0% chance Preds do this. I don't think the value is there even excluding Campbell. Yall are trying to get rid of Broberg. Bourgault probably wouldn't even be in our top 6 in the AHL. With a stud goalie yall would be cup favorites and all those picks would be at the end of their respective rounds.

If we trade Saros, Preds will want to get AT LEAST one sure-fire Top 6 or Top 4 guy. An A level prospect is where the ask starts and then things would get added.

Duclair isn't worth a 1st, let alone a 1st+ (5th for Carpenter is even rather high, but within the range of acceptable).

NSH likely declines this because this offer gets outbid. Nevermind NSH not needing either of Broberg or Bourgault, but the fact that you are asking NSH to take on Campbell's contract kills any hope EDM has of getting Saros.

If, and its a big if, NSH trades Saros, they will be looking for quality over quantity when with that trade and unfortunately, EDM just doesn't have the quality that NSH is looking for.

Wild decline. They don't need a 3rd pairing RHD next year at $3.25m cap hit and they actually could use Middleton next year, so there's no reason to accept this trade.
