Description
Some ideas— values are probably off, tough to gauge. More curious on availability of players and what cost would potentially be

Not sure on Batherson/Cirelli value — could be too much or too little lol

A year ago, I couldn't imagine re-signing Smith for over a million, but now - that's a fair deal. I never felt he was more than adequate, but he's grown on me and grown as a player.

Hard to imagine NSH getting good value out of L'Heueux as a trade piece, given the the discipline issues are still an issue.

Trotz has praised Svechkov multiple times though. I'm not certain he'd commit to Cirelli's contract, if he has a cost controlled player like that in the system already.

    All good points.

Do you envision Svechkov as a 2C or 3C at the NHL level? I always thought 3C, but is that changing?

I’d love to snag Lundell out of FLA if possible too— was surprised NSH chose Askarov over him considering positional need at the time.

And then L’Heureux could be swapped out— but yeah, not sure NSH would want to pay too much for Batherson. But that could be a dangerous RW with him, Evangelista, and Kemell eventually. Depends if they’re looking for a shakeup.

Doesn’t seem like a fit with Stutzle and Norris in OTT— unless Cirelli or Norris shift to wing.

I think he's projecting like a 2C now. Maybe a 3C on a deep team. Given it's the Preds we're talking about, he'll probably be thrust into a 1C role he's not equipped for, when O'Reilly's contract is over. wink
