You're way too low on both Montour and Reinharts AAV. Reinhart could easily get close to $10,000,000 per long term on the open market. And Montour should come in around $6,000,000 per long term.

CBJ would only be on the hook for $5M that year, and $6M the following, in actual salary, which is less than Elvis.

But yes - Bob’s not waiving to go from a winning FLA team to a bottom-dwelling CBJ team, unless he really decides he needs a retirement tour. He and Jarmo also have beef (which, TBF, could be alleviated if CBJ move on from GMJK this offseason).
