    He's getting at LEAST a 2nd, wouldn't be surprised if it's more. He's the best 4C in the league that can play 3C, and puts up top tier defensive results. Every contender is going to want him at his cheap price AND he has an extra year on his deal.

    Not sure Avs have what Caps would expect. What about Foudy? How is he? He's been hurt most of the year?

    Given that they got 2nds for Eller and Hathaway last year, I think they would be looking for at least that to move him. If I was BMac, I would package him in to a deal taking back an iffy contract (Campbell? Goodrow? Vanacek? Schmidt?) to get more value out of a deal. As much as I hate to admit it, I think the best fit for him is probably NYR ...
