Description
Our roster currently can’t generate offense yet is somehow still hanging the playoff race. We’d be lucky to win 2 games in the playoffs if we make it. I think it’s a bit better if we sell a bit now and regroup a bit over the summer

The Kings aren't trading Kaliyev for a rental.

As good as he’s played this year, he’s still a 30 year old who’s bounced between NHL backup and AHL 1A. Wasn’t even particularly great in the AHL most years.

15 games does not make him worth a 1st.

Totally get that. Didn’t feel right to ask for a first, but figured since he’s got another year left and would be going to a division rival, might up the asking price. Especially if it’s desperation if like Markstrom doesn’t wanna go or Merzlikins is too bad of a contract to trade for

Yeah def not worth a first. Could see a 2nd because of his contract and the lack of options on the goalie market though

He’d have to keep his play until the deadline imo.

Right now I could see a 3rd.

Every good game he plays creeps up his value.

But additionally every game you hold him for you run the risk of the clock striking midnight and him turning back into a pumpkin
