Jets Lineup With Existing Depth

With our LW depth, there’s zero reason to rush McGroarty into the NHL
Lose Iafallo, Schmidt, and Heinola to likely offseason trade fodder
I didn’t fill on a 2C name as we don’t know how that will turn out yet…though I know what I’m hoping for
RD is fluid…I put DeMelo with Morrissey, just because of the chemistry so far, but if we get a better option in trade, then they’d knock DeMelo down, or Pionk down, or they fill the bottom RD… hard to know what Chevy will do

Connor - Scheifele - Vilardi
Perfetti - ???? - Ehlers
Neiderreiter - Lowry - Lambert
Barron - Namestnikov - Appleton

Morrissey - DeMelo/????
Samberg - Pionk/????
Chisholm - ????

While I like the broader organizational depth, I think that DiVincentis, McGroarty and Salomonsson will play a year with the Moose next season. Lambert, however, has a good chance of making the Jets.

Best case scenarios probably see Lambert at 2C with Perfetti on his left. WPG clearly wants to keep Fetts on the wing and have been developing Lambo at centre. They'd look good with Vilardi on the 2nd line.

And if Mcgroarty can make the team, he'd probably fit in well with Lows - Nino on the third.

Salomonsson likely and DiVincentiis definitely will need time with the Moose.

McGroarty is putting up a clinic in the NCAA this season without Fantilli on his line. I feel like as a Jets fan he really benefitted from having Fantilli on the team. But look how far we've come. We need McGroarty ASAP cause we are screwed with the Schief injury.
