No they don't. the Leafs give up two NHL Dmen (with term) and just get a upcoming 3rd pairing Dman in return.
McBain might be better than Holmberg, but geez Holmberg has played well lately, and the Leaf need Holmberg at centre is case one of the other centres is injured. Hasn't McCain played exclusively on the wing?
