Hell yeah, Buchnevich would be the perfect fit for VAN.

The only question is do the Canucks really have Soucy's space for the rest of the season? Only 4-6 week injury, no?

If Soucy comes back then Cole will get inured as a vet move before the Playoffs.

It's certainly a nice enough offer out of context, but it doesn't really address Blues' clear primary need and, well, they're still using Buch at the moment. So yeah, nice offer, but I would not bet on its success.
