Description

Is this the kind of depth move Dallas might make, assuming that they don't land Chris Tanev? I'm trying something out here. (The retention in my underlying construction is by a third team, not Vancouver.)

Assume that the cap conflict is resolved, perhaps by trading Radek Faksa.

Also -- has Nils Lundkvist fallen into disfavor there?

I have trouble finding Dallas ACGMs created by actual Stars fans, so I don't really know what the team needs. I'm seeking some informational input.

In my opinion, Vancouver will gladly accept this deal.
However, it's not going to happen.

I would say not likely. I know rumors say they’re looking at D, but it would be depth if at all. They’re 7 deep, and I believe they’d only push maybe 2 players down the depth chart if the right player & price were there. Nill likes to carry 8, but betting he’d go with this 7 if market too expensive. Still time to evaluate. I’m also watching monahan as a target, as I could see a fit on the 3rd line, pushing Steel to 4th to give the Stars as strong of 4 lines as there are in the league. Close now, but push Dadonov to #13, Dellandrea to #14. Even if they stay as-is, this team has a legit shot.
