Probably pretty close overall…but the dman in NHL normally carries more value than goalie in AHL.

Maybe Devils add Daws, Schmid or one of their other waiver exempt goalies and Panthers send dman back…so two-for-two?

Or for 2024…Devils send Toffoli at $2m, Miller at $925k and Daws or Schmid….Panthers send Knight and another piece.

Chatfield will get more cap and years than that. Double the AAV and at least 3 years

That is what I was thinking. Gives Devils the more NHL ready young goalie and Panthers a guy they can stash a little longer. And depth has been an issue for us on blueline.

I’d prefer to keep Marino and offer other assets for knight but I’d say similar value. Maybe Florida adds somewhat. If it was a deadline move Florida adds significantly more
