imo, Pearson isn't being moved yet. He'll be next year with either Savard or Allen, whoever isn't traded there.

Just for Montembault's sake I'd trade Allen or Primeau. I think you keep savard to finish the year and use the retention next year. Pearson makes most sense for retention and I think you only think of keeping him to fill a roster if he were a center. Heinimen is the most immediate option i'd say.

I’ve thought about this and I don’t think Pearson gets moved unless he either steps up his game in a big way or a team takes his full cap hit which I highly doubt. He’s off the books after this season and Hugo can probably get more being a third party retention on a guy than they can just trading Pearson half retained.
