There's no motivation for the Jackets to trade their recent high picks for multiple lower quality prospects or late picks. If people want to propose trades for players like KJ or Jiricek then they need to put their top young players on the block too.

I’d think it would have to be Sergachev-for-Drouin positional swap. Ghule-for-Johnson type of move.

That's nice, but again, where is the motivation for the Jackets to make that kind of trade? If it were that easy to get guys with top 6 potential then they could've packaged Foudy, Peeke, and their 2020 1st for Nick Suzuki a few years ago. Giving up on a 21 y/o with KJ's talent level without getting anyone even close to the same level of potential doesn't make sense for a rebuilding team. Put Reinbacher on the table and we can talk.
