I'd take that Hanifin deal as a Flames fan

I could be wrong but, didn't Eliotte Friedman say Vancouver was happy with Myers and his play this year and that they aren't interested in trading him?

More nonsense. Leafs certainly aren't giving all of that up for a guy that could sign as a UFA. And you can be sure the Leafs aren't signing a one Dman to a 7.5m contract this summer .

There is no such thing as double retention on Cap friendly, so you gotta put the actual player with his 50% cap hit on LTIR & then create a player with the 75% cap hit for the team
