No thank you. The Blues love them some Torp, Niemela is not really what the Blues are looking for and Abruzzy is of no interest.

Just to add because he has 1.5 years on this contract and he's still a RFA when it ends.

True dat. And I agree with Army that he has not hit his ceiling yet. Torp has been a slow bloomer at pretty much every stop in his career. Every time you think he's reached as high as he can go, he steps it up. I think he can definitely be a cheap ++ skating, monster sized, 15-goal energy/PK guy who's solid on zone entries for several years. I don't think he has the hands to go top 6, but he could be a nice 3rd liner whose value goes a little beyond counting stats, especially in the playoffs. And from what I understand, his clubhouse personality is similar to Buch's, and they all love Buch.
