      1. Mittelstadt, Casey [RFA Rights]
      Additional Details:
It's very possible Buffalo has no interest in moving Mittelstadt, but the Caps HAVE to be in on him if this is something they are open to doing.

      1. Iorio, Vincent
      2. Lapierre, Hendrix
      3. 2024 1st round pick (EDM)
      4. 2025 2nd round pick (BOS)
      Additional Details:
Lapierre will be a full-time NHLer in 24-25. He's played well with the caps and very well with the bears this season. Iorio will likely be a top 4 defenseman for the future, but can likely hold down a 6/7 role next season steadily.

You’re not getting a first for a fourth line center, at least not from the oilers.

I am not fan of moving Mittelstadt, but this is good offer, since I would think Oilers are not getting past 1st round.

Lapierre has no value to Buffalo at all. The only reason they move Mittelstadt is to promote their own prospects. Iorio is interesting but still too young. If the Sabres think he can be top 4 next year, the trade is workable

The issue with trading Mittelstadt, is you are getting picks and prospect, but guys you promote won't replace Mitts` production from the start
