I think that is a decent offer and makes sense. Malkin might have chemistry with fellow Russian Mikheyev. Pick is for the extra year contract.

I would probably do it for the Pens.

Smith would probably be a good fit on Miller and Petey's line. Miki never plays with JT so it makes sense, especially if the Swedish line sticks around. Another option is Suter and Smith rounding out the top 6 and Hog keeps chugging away on the 4th. Lots options. Fine with this move.
