Considering Jake Guentzel is eligible to come off LTIR 2 days after the Trade Deadline, i think there's still a better-than 50/50 shot he's traded.
I've seen thousands of JG trade offers, but genuinely curious if any of the penguins other players are attractive to other teams.
Fans of other teams: drop your trade proposals down below not just for Guentzel but also these players... (my best guesses/speculation of teams that MIGHT be interested)
-Assume PIT is willing to retain in moderation and also take $ back to make the deal work.
-Assume PIT wants 1st round picks, NHL players under 25, and Close-to-NHL-ready prospects
-Assume PIT would keep Pettersson, Jarry, Rust (NMC), Carter (NMC), and the Big 4
If Dubas is just re-arranging the deck chairs, I would think Rakell, Graves, Smith, Ned, and any depth dman or forward is available. Guentzel too if he is not re-signed.
I would love if Wpg would be interested in Rakell. He would provide some much needed scoring depth on the right side on our third line. The only problem with Rakell is he has 5 years left on his deal at a pretty high number.
