I really don’t see why the Flames would give up that much for a dman we don’t really need or want.

Calgary declines. Chychrun would be a great replacement for Hanifin but unless the acquisition cost is surprisingly low he'd have to come with more than just 1 year of term making it something to consider after this season is over when he can sign an extension.
