    Dont see AZ parting w Bjug - the other Cs are 23/23/19 and no one in AHL ready to jump (geekie is still 19 and not ready). dont see them able to get vet C (41pt pace) for cheap in UFA to replace him.

    They’d likely have to be blown away to move him with retention this year. If the idea was to simply flip him at the deadline again they likely would’ve just gone with a 1 yr deal instead of 2. Something like Broberg and a 2nd for Bjugstad, and like a 3rd and 5th for the retention. Likely an overpay, but I don’t think the player or team really want to move him this year so it’ll take a larger offer.

    Broberg and a second would be good value with retention, but he loved Bear and wanted to come back. I don't see why they'd move him this season, when he fits the system so well and there is no obvious replacement this year or next. They like size down the middle.
