Kind of one step forward, one back.

Is Greenway a top line player?

Lots of beef, missing physicality/two way guys but most of it on 4th line

Krebs and his 10 pts is suddenly a 3C, with 2 rookies?

Do DAL or NJD really want Okposo and Girgensons?

This is just for the end of the season. Greenway has been playing in the top 6, Krebs has already been promoted to a line with Benson and Peterka and they had the most 5v5 time last game, with all their prospects they're definitely leaning towards 3 skill lines so I'd like at least the 4th line to bring physicality and be a shutdown line. Okposo is on pace for 20 goals from the 4th line, seems like a decent add for a playoff run. Lindy Ruff knows Girgensons, depth for playoffs, they aren't giving anything up

Want nothing to do with Cal Foote

Besides that, I'd rather not trade Mitts but I'll give you this; it isn't a terrible return although I'm unsure Carrier is a Top Pair Dman.

Acquiring Faksa, it only works if we trade Mitts due to salary. Seems like a handy bottom line guy though.

No idea who you are trading Erik Johnson for lol

I want something for Olofsson, not future considerations

Carrier is only on the top line because Samuelsson and Power are out rn. I don't think if they even waived Olofsson he would get claimed rn, but the Sabres aren't going to use him either, just want to trim the fat before the tdl

I'm a bit hesitant on this deal for NSH. I like Middelstadt a lot and think he would do well in NSH under Burnette and it gives NSH a top 6 center that can play right now and still grow into his prime over the next few years with other NSH prospects coming up. That said, I'd rather not move that 1st round pick unless NSH can get another in this draft from another team (perhaps through something like a Saros trade). The pick is currently sitting at 13OA, and that could land NSH a really strong prospect as well like a Connelly or Iginla. If NSH can make some other moves and get another 1st round pick I'd 100% be open to making this deal.
