Jeremy Rutherford: "I would give it a 50-60% chance that [Kyrou's] gonna be traded before the NTC kicks in. I'd be shocked if Jordan Kyrou finished his 8-year contract with the Blues."
I'm not sure what he would cost or what STL is looking for, this is just something quick I put together but I'm positive that he'll cost more than this. Any Blues fans wanna give some insight here?
I seriously doubt he gets dealt in any capacity, especially after his slightly down year offensively. And if he does it would be for another Young top 6 Winger to replace him
Rutheford is pretty much all speculation. He doesn't really have any sources. The one thing he's really broken was Tarasenko's trade request, and that was from the agent. I wouldn't put much stock into anything that's coming from an insider regarding the Blues. Armstrong is tight to the chest, Strickland is the only one who if there's smoke there's probably some fire.
I think they would entertain moving him. But I also think it would have to be a hockey trade situation where there's a real good young piece coming back or something similar to what PLD got dealt for last year where there's a couple of young players who can impact the NHL roster
A little STL tip for ya: JR is a f-ing idiot. And he is constantly trying to stir up BS with our players, especially Kyrou. JR can go F himself as far as I'm concerned.
Also, the Blues are not Chicago or San Jose. Sending a pile of meh futures is not getting anyone anywhere. Frankly, unless Lou suddenly wishes to trade Dobson for some insane reason, the Isles do not have the trade capital to play this game.
