Turcotte is looking like a bust, but if they are trading him + 1st round pick it will be for a better player than Smith
Bolts buy elsewhere, might be a placeholder and still Ned and Eller don't return that much
Jarry isn't that much of an upgrade over Vanceck, devils go for Markstrom instead
Don't know about the Oilers trade, Holloway stats look bad but who know what his real value is

That Devils trade is awful. Vitek is one of the worst goalies in the NHL this year and Jarry is one of the best.

Well that is factually incorrect.

In GSAX 5v5 against goalies with 20+ games
Jarry is in the 84th percentile (8th in the NHL)
Vitek is in the 12th percentile (45th in the NHL)

And when it comes to Markstrom, he has had 2 good seasons in the last 4 years and 2 bad seasons. Before that he was average at best his whole career. At 34, I wouldn't bet on Markstrom.
