We have enough 30 years old + on the roster and the forward corps is pretty stacked as we speak

So basically, this trade is DOA

the islanders won't trade nelson unless they get an offer that truly blows them away. i don't think this is that.

I don't think the isles do this.

I think that might be close to what it would cost to get Lou's attention. Assuming Stankoven is off-limits, you might need to bump the 3rd up a round and/or add another prospect to get it done, but you're probably close to being in the ballpark.

Not sure, Bourque is one of their top spects but obviously unproven. Dellandrea is a young 4th liner, Suter is 39 yrs old. I think we would need a little more...but you are it's close
I much rather, remove Bourque and Dellandrea and get Johnston from Dallas
