I agree with you that the 3rd Metro team in the playoffs might not be good, but the Capitals should be worse than their record and their record isn't very good. I hope they go all in just to see them crash and burn but the -33 goal differential (27th in league) is indicative of how weak they are.

Alexeyev looks closer to being a bust than an NHL player. The pick would be a nice start for Calgary but Washington really shouldn't be a buyer now so they should hang onto it.
