As much as I love this and want it to happen, I dont see a 19 year old coming in and centering the 2nd line on a contending team. Most likely he would be a winger in the bottom 6 with the chance to move up. I could be wrong but 2C is a big leap from college hockey
I still hope he signs and ends up on the roster

I do get what you are saying and its a good point. I just thought putting McGroarty as the 2C because Connor and Perfetti aren't great defensively. Monahan is more of a scorer which the 3rd line needs.

Mcgroarty doesnt even play centre regularly for Michigan. This would be a huge leap for him. Also, Perfetti has great defensive metrics.
