don't hate it, not sure about dorofeyev, I personally wouldn't give someone with 49 games of NHL experience a 3x3.5 contract, there's certainly potential but I'd rather keep Evans and trade him at the 2024 deadline or keep him around as our 4c for a bit longer than move him

I’d trade Dvo for Ryjo, Avs place Dvo on LTIR for the rest of the season and get cap relief for the rest of the season to bring someone else in and Montreal receives Ryjo to get through the rest of this season and who knows? Maybe he revives a bit and gets them some kind of return at next years TDL at half retained. No need to trade Evans though as it would give Beck a season of playing top minutes in Laval and Evans could step up into Ryjo’s spot when he is dealt at next year’s TDL.
